The project wants to compare different types of cultural, artistic, historical, environmental patrimonies in Europe from the artistic, cultural, historical and economical points of view. Students and teachers will highlight the quality of conservation policies and investigate on the impacts of tourism on the locals´quality of life.
Spain, Sweden, Italy, Scotland and Germany are the countries which take part in the research and each of them is characterized by a different heritage with regards origin and history.

The coordinating school:

  • Escuela de Arte “José María Cruz Novillo” in Cuenca, Spain

The partner schools:

  • I.S. "Galileo Galilei" in Benevento, Italy
  • The Adam Smith College in Kyrkcaldy, Scotland
  • "Agnes-Bernauer-Schule" Realschule für Mädchen in Augsburg, Germany

The most important part of the project will be devoted to the study and comparison of these heritages. Besides, each partner country has a different policy towards the preservation of its heritage and the comparison of these policies will lead to interesting results. The project also intends to enhance students´and teachers´mastery of the English language, with the exception of one of the partners, since all communications among partners and all the products will be in this language. The research will be mainly carried out as a Web quest: according to a planned calendar, each project partner will act as a leader of a project phase. During each phase all partners will study the most important features of the area where the leading school is situated. This is meant to avoid the risk of each school researching only its own patrimony, and not finding time to get to know the other countries´ones.
This is the woman from whom everything started. A real *go getter*: Mrs Gabriela Rodriguez from Spain
